With the COVID-19 pandemic still causing people to quarantine or, at the least, stay home more than ever before people are seeking in home fitness programs more than ever.
Methods for Online Personal Training
A popular method is hiring a personal trainer to either make a program for you to follow with the equipment you have at home (or lack thereof). This is usually in the form of an app like Trainerize where the client follows a prescribed workout routine with videos to watch. This is extremely effective for people that know how to workout and have good body awareness or kinesthetic sense. I actually have several programs that you can find here.
Another method is utilizing the program I stated above but with the added benefit of the trainer watching you via Skype, Zoom or another live-streaming service. Live-streaming is a great add on for people that need that extra push by a trainer to get through a workout. Live-streaming is also very good for people that want to make sure that they’re performing the exercises correctly. Some instructors will also perform the workout with you making it more like a class setting.
Online Personal Training Pricing
Costs vary among trainers and companies and much of it depends on the personalization. Some services are hands off and just pre-set programs for you to follow. Others are extremely personalized taking into consideration your goals, anthropometric measurements, diet and access to equipment. Of course the more personalized the more expensive the service is. The online personal training service I offer has many different scales of service and personalization and you can find out more about it here. Live-streaming is usually paid for as a regular in home personal training session when executed by a certified personal trainer.
