Changing the way you talk about yourself can be difficult. It means staying mindful within every conversation, in your head and with other people. You need to stop those old, limiting beliefs in their tracks and make an effort to replace them with new ones, even if you’re not 100% sure that they are true yet.
Visualize Yourself As This New Person Every Day
Make sure you’re actually seeing yourself as the new person every day, so you can act in accordance with who you want to be. Everything needs to be in alignment with your new identity. Mornings and night times are good times to do this. What do you look like? What do you dress like? How do you talk and walk? Who do you associate with? What do you eat for lunch? Everything you do, say, and think is important when you’re shifting your identity.
Keep Doing The Work
The more consistent you are, the more effective this will be. Make sure you’re doing the work day in, day out. You might notice resistance crop up, such as ‘I can’t do this’ or ‘Nothing will change for me no matter how hard I try’, but you must overcome it.
