How to Naturally Release Growth Hormone for Youthfulness & Better Health


Growth Hormone is one of the most powerful hormones your body makes to keep your body youthful and strong! Unfortunately as we age our growth hormone (GH) levels drop. So how can we naturally increase the release and production of growth hormone? Well first let’s look at some of the positive benefits we receive from GH.

Here are just some of the benefits Growth Hormone provides in our bodies:

– Increases muscle mass through sarcomere hypertrophy

– Promotes lipolysis (breakdown of fat)

– Increases protein synthesis (necessary for muscle growth/maintenance)

– Promotes gluconeogenesis in the liver

– Contributes to the maintenance and function of pancreatic islets (insulin function)

– Stimulates the immune system

Ok, so now let’s get into a couple of ways we can naturally increase GH by taking some key supplements at the right time each day.

A study published by Medicine and Sports Science indicated that 3 grams of GABA 30 minutes before a workout increased GH levels by 200%! It should be noted that your workout must be of high intensity and/or contain high intensity exercises like squats or deadlifts to maximize GH release.

Another study published by the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research also showed that taking a combination of L-Arginine and L-Ornithine increased GH levels. The L-Arginine dose was 3000 mg and the L-Ornithine dose was 2200 mg. The supplement was given twice a day with one dose taken 60 minutes before a workout (but at least 2 hours after breakfast) and the second dose was administered 2 hours after the last meal, but 30 minutes before bedtime.

Below is a graphic taken from the study that demonstrates the increase in GH when taking L-Arginine and L-Ornithine as compared to a placebo.

So what we can surmise from this data is that by taking both GABA (3 grams) and L-Arginine (3 grams) and L-Ornithine (2.2 grams) 30 and 60 minutes respectively before a high intensity workout but at least 2 hours after a meal we can significantly increase our GH levels. We can further increase our GH levels by taking L-Arginine (3 grams) and L-Ornithine (2.2 grams) 30 minutes before bedtime but at least 2 hours after your last meal.
