Its been a while since I’ve posted but I had to share this with everyone, especially for the people on a low FODMAP diet like me. If you’re still not familiar with a Low FODMAP diet it’s a diet low in Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides and Polyols or FODMAP’s for short. People follow this diet because they suffer from either IBS, IBD, Crohns, Ulcerative colitis or just general gastric distress after eating certain foods. It’s also a great diet to follow in general because of its anti-inflammatory properties and lessened belly bloating!
Now, lets get back to sharing this recipe, and an awesome new company (well at least new to the USA) that caters to the low FODMAP community by offering sauces and foods that are delish and low in FODMAP’s. The company is called FODMAPPED and Sweet Chili Basil Lemongrass is just one of many sauces, soups, and broths that they make. I kind of used their recommended recipe on the bag but switched rice noodles to summer squash noodles making the dish lower in carbs, paleo friendly and healthier.
